Meet Your Host: Alma Galván
Alma Galván is the Founder of BrainWorx, a groundbreaking program that helps individuals of all ages rewire the brain through intentional movement and calming practices. For over two decades, she has guided thousands of families, educators, and professionals to create lasting change.
Alma's journey began from a place of deep love and necessity, as a mother determined to help her children with significant neurological challenges. What began as a personal mission evolved into a powerful method now used by families and individuals around the world.
In 2024, Alma experienced a life-altering event—a brain aneurysm. She was sedated for two days and spent 21 days in the ICU. Through it all, she discovered even more about the work she’s devoted her life to—this time from the inside out. Even while unconscious, Alma's body continued doing the BrainWorx movements—reflexively, instinctively, as if they had become woven into the fabric of who she is.
Alma continues to lead BrainWorx with deep compassion, grace, and a renewed sense of awe for what’s possible when we return to the body, the breath, and the miracle of presence. As a part of her anniversary celebration, Alma has created Alma Integration, in which she offers individual coaching and support, workshops and inspirational songs, and additional content.
